Nearly 60 delegates entered the CC Ltd Image Analysis Porosity Quiz at Geo2008 in Bahrain. Your estimates ranged from 5-42.5%, and we are pleased to announce that Magdy Hozayen, Senoir Reservoir Geologist, ADCO won the competition with an estimate of 24% - this was the closest to the actual figure of 24.6% IA Porosity. Congratulations!

We are exhibiting and presenting at GEO 2008 in Bahrain
Cambridge Carbonates Ltd. and Scientific Press (J.P.G.) on the scheduled publication of the 'Petroleum Geology of Iraq' would like to invite you to our stand in the UK Pavillion, at Geo 2008 (March 3-5).

Cambridge Carbonates Ltd. will also be able to showcase their multiclient work and discuss more focussed use of their database on northern Arabia, including the report on the Petroleum Geology of Northern Iraq, plus a range of reservoir analysis techniques by application/use of Image Analysis.

On behalf of StatoilHydro, Jo will be presenting on Mon 3rd March at 1425 in the Middle East Hydrocarbons part 1 session on “Reservoir characterization of the heterogeneous hydrocarbon field, Khuff (Kangan-Dalan) Formation, Middle East. Download abstract.

Cambridge Carbonates Ltd welcome Jen Waters to the fold! Jen is currently in her final year studying for a PhD at Durham University, and is taking 2 months out to gain industry experience through an internship with us. “Welcome” Jen!
